Note: Audio playback simulates the sampling and reconstruction process. You may hear distortion when sampling below the Nyquist rate.
Question 1/3
What is the Nyquist rate?
The Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem states that to accurately reconstruct a signal, the sampling rate must be at least twice the highest frequency component of the signal. This minimum sampling rate is called the Nyquist rate.
The current sampling rate is above the Nyquist rate. The signal can be accurately reconstructed.
